I chose the name Cat-Hawk Gardens for the domestic and wild parts of being human. Gardening gives me a chance to feel connected to the Earth and unwind while being creative and nurturing to myself and my surroundings. The gardens are located on the outskirts of Petaluma where wild hawks fly over head calling out while our two domesticated cats, Cloe and Tommy, look up in wonder as I do. I started gardening when I was a young child and continued into adulthood learning from different teachers. For over 20 years I have been a Breema Practitioner and Instructor while raising two children and caregiving for a mother with mental illness. While going to school, working/teaching and caregiving I would find myself going to the garden for solitude and reflection. As a creative outlet I make succulent gardens, grow veggies for my family and friends and enjoy every minute of it! The passion has been growing into Cat-Hawk Gardens. Now I am sharing these gifts with the community by offering handmade nature inspired gifts, smudge bundles, zen succulent gardens and playful hands on gardening workshops that focus on beautiful draught tolerant plants for in and outside your home or office. 5% of all purchases go to the School Garden Network of Sonoma County which helps fund our school gardens. My showroom is located in downtown Petaluma at the Petaluma Community Acupuncture clinic and or you can go to my website for upcoming gardening workshops. Private workshops are also available.

Cathrina Susoev has been practicing and teaching Breema in the community for 20 years. She is a certified Breema practitioner and instructor through the Breema Center in Oakland, CA. Other modalities she has learned are therapeutic massage, Shiatsu, and Watsu. She sees clients privately for Breema bodywork sessions and teaches weekly Self-Breema classes and Breema Workshops at Touching the Source in downtown Petaluma. Breema is a simple, natural form of touch and body movement. The aim of Breema is to bring us to a tangible experience of presence that becomes our foundation for a new dimension of health, consciousness, and self-understanding. Breema bodywork and Self-Breema exercises use nurturing touch, tension-relieving stretches, and rhythmic movements to create physical, mental, and emotional balance.

Why are you at WORK? : Working from my home office can be distracting sometimes so I find working at WORK Petaluma helps me stay focused and inspires me to get my work done in a supportive and comfortable setting.
