For the last year I have been designing and developing a new sustainable product to create aesthetically pleasing designs for privacy on windows, glass walls and doors for homes or offices that lets the light in!  I entered an International Innovators Contest and made it to the top 12 finalists in January 2018!  I’ve been working with a manufacturer in Minneapolis and we are in the final stages of testing the product materials.  We hope to be launching the product in 2018 and we are updating the website.

My previous experience includes ERP Implementations (for SAP, Oracle & PeopleSoft), Project Manager (Wells Fargo/Wachovia bank merger converting $60 billion in assets), Finance Director and Financial Business Analyst.  I enjoy finding solutions to improve information flow and processes.  I’m extremely good at data analysis and strategic planning.  I have management experience; I like working on a team but I’m also very productive working independently.  My depth of knowledge in accounting and finance has allowed me to find system solutions for private industry, government and non-profits.  I have worked as the liaison multiple times on projects due to my soft skills along with understanding both IT and finance.  I have experience in building and managing international budgets for over $100 million plus building budgets for small enterprises using Quick Books.  Right now I’m using all of this experience in developing my own company.

Why are you at WORK?: I find working at home very isolating and distracting.  I love being in downtown Petaluma where I can walk out for a cup of coffee, dash into a café for lunch or meet a friend.  I enjoy the energy, lunchtime lessons and people I’ve met at work.  It’s a really positive environment with collaborative innovative people!
