PART ONE: ESSENTIAL TECHNIQUES & TECHNOLOGY – APRIL 3RD

DETAILS: Learn to create professional video of yourself using your cell phone, DSLR or camcorder. Practice recording both spontaneous and pre-scripted content using an iPad & iPhone portaprompter. All of the equipment we use (e.g. microphones, lights, tripods) is affordable and enhances production value significantly.

Aimed at the business owner or marketing pro who needs to tell their brand story or share their expertise on camera in an authentic and engaging way while keeping their audience at the forefront of their mind.

DETAILS: Writing vibrant verbal content is essential for keeping your audience’s attention and making your message heard. Visual metaphor and pithy personable prose, combined with clear structure, are essential techniques in scriptwriting that subtly differ from other forms of writing.

So where do you begin and what belongs on the cutting room floor? Working with Vince Beeton (TV director and brand filmmaker) we will dive deep into style, tone, and appropriate language while defining our audience and communication objectives for the brand messages you want to deliver.

PART THREE: FILM YOUR VIDEO…TONIGHT! – APRIL 17TH

COST: $200 – includes a 60 minute one-on-one consultation with Vince Beeton prior to the class, plus a finished Quicktime movie encoded for the web of your best take to use after.

DETAILS:  Record Your Own 30 Second Brand Video On Camera… TONIGHT! (Class limited to 4 people) Sit down and be coached and filmed by Vince Beeton (TV director and brand filmmaker). All you need is to do is write the script before the night and turn up ready to nail it. There will also be an opportunity (for those that want) to actually create a Facebook Live or YouTube broadcast. We will be learning from each other as the evening unfolds and Vince switches between the participants and different filming scenarios.

60 minutes of script consultation via Skype prior to the night is included in this class. You will be given (within 24 hours) a Quicktime movie encoded for the web of your best take to use.
