The Sonoma Climate Challenge is about rising up in this historic moment and coming together to take action towards the shared goal of richer, more resilient lives and communities.
This joint action of the Sonoma County Regional Climate Protection Agency and Daily Acts has the ambitious—and achievable!—goal to have 500 households participate and collectively reduce our emissions by 500 tons of CO2 by 2020! This would be the equivalent of 588 acres of forests capturing and storing carbon over one year. We are confident that with your help, our community will step up to this challenge and be a model of clean energy, low carbon living.
Join us as we dive into the program to see how it works and brainstorm ideas for personal actions we can each take over the next year.
The climate crisis demands immediate and bold action. We all need your help to meet this important goal, a critical step toward rising to this historic moment and creating a safe and healthy future for all.
