Join us if you are:

•  Anxious in public speaking situations

•  Wanting to be more confident and comfortable at gatherings, parties, networking events, or interviews

•  A business professional or a leader wanting to learn how to present with more impact and connection at meetings

•  Anyone wanting to perfect the power of listening

In this session Megan will describe Better Speaking, Better Listening, modeled after Speaking Circles, founded by Lee Glickstein in the late 1990s. She will go over the main principle of “relational presence”, which sets Speaking Circles apart from other public speaking programs. It’s about being in a place of not trying, of ease.

Each attendee will be coached as a listener and asked to get up in front of the group for 3 minutes, time allowing, as an introduction to Relational Presence. Knowing what you might say in those 3 minutes is irrelevant. Please do not prepare anything to say. At this point, it’s not about content. It’s about learning to be comfortable with yourself and in the “not knowing” in front of others.

PLEASE RSVP HERE.  $5-$10 sliding scale donation at the door for Non WORK Members– help us keep the lights on and keep great programs coming your way! WORK Members FREE including Friends of WORK!

12-1 PM in the WORK Library.  Feel free to bring a bag lunch.
