Anybody can publish a blog post or Tweet. But do your written communications consistently echo your brand’s message and identity? Blog posts, social posts, and newsletters are the written expression of your brand. The essence of your brand should be palpable in all of your writing, whether you’re writing 130 characters or 1,500 words.  In this half-day workshop with writer Amy Eden Jollymore you’ll discover how blog and social media posts can bring customers delight and enable them to relate to your brand. You’ll come away from this workshop with an understanding of what it takes to write content that clearly expresses the spirit of your business to customers in a variety of formats.

What You’ll Get out of This Workshop

Use this workshop to sketch out an editorial calendar for communicating your brand to customers, through site copy, blog posts, social posts, and newsletters. We will focus on using writing that’s direct, thoughtful, and brand-consistent.

What the Workshop will Cover

At the start of the morning, you’ll articulate your brand’s mission and use it to develop a brand lexicon. From there you will plan out a calendar of written content that fits your customer and business; some customers will be best reached by blog posts while others will be more likely to engage with newsletters or Tweets. You’ll have time to roll up your sleeves and develop ideas for newsletters, a few Tweets, and blog posts.
